Bengaluru: Rat Poison Exposure Lands 19 Students in Hospital; Three in ICU

Bengaluru: Nineteen students from Adarsh Nursing School’s hostel were rushed to the hospital in Bengaluru on Monday morning after they developed breathing difficulties. The health issues were attributed to rat repellent sprayed by the hostel’s maintenance team on Sunday night.

Three of the students are in serious condition and have been admitted to the ICU, while the remaining students are reported to be out of danger. Bengaluru West DCP S Girish stated that a case will be registered against those responsible under relevant sections for spraying the rat poison.
